Description: Every building has a story. The intriguing architecture of Western New York is celebrated through Building Stories, Buffalo Architecture Foundation’s multi-media project documenting and sharing profound individual experiences with architecture, construction, landscape and planning throughout the region. The Buffalo Architecture Foundation Building Stories Collection provides access to submissions from 2011 to the present. Please visit www.buffaloarchitecture.org to share your own Building Stories about architecture and place in Western New York. Buffalo Architecture Foundation invites the community to discover architecture, to become stewards of the built environment, and to advocate for design excellence. This mission is implemented through innovative educational activities and public awareness events engaging citizens of all ages. Established with the generous support of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Buffalo/Western New York Chapter, Buffalo Architecture Foundation is a not-for-profit, public charity committed to nurturing creative cooperation with the AIA and other regional cultural organizations to promote and celebrate architecture, design and construction. The Collection was initiated in 2012 by the University at Buffalo Libraries in cooperation with Buffalo Architecture Foundation, Inc.
