Welcome all. No group of people, have had the unique historical, social and political
struggles that black women endure. This year Black Women United will evaluate the
matters that have troubled all women in order to see how these problems pertain more
specifically to women of color. We believe that only by understanding the issues that
affect all women can we fully comprehend our own. So today we will begin to explore
the concerns that press us most, by taking a look at the future meeting topics.
