The Harlem Wizards - not to
be confused with the Globetrotters - bring their basketball
wizardry to the University of
Buffalo's Clark Gym next week.
The Wizards will play an exhibition next Thursday at 7:30
p.m. in the UB gym , sponsored
by the UB Black Student Union.
Tickets, at $3,are available at
UB and Buffalo State College
ticket offices.
The Wizards, who have
traveled throughout the world,
combine talents for basketball
and comedy in their exhibition.
Leader of the team is James
"Peanuts" Woolard, former Lincoin University star, a skilled
ballhandler at 5 feet 2 inches.
Also on the club are Tex Barnwell, a junior college AU-America
at Broome Tech; 6-7 Tojo
Henderson; ex-Delaware State
star Wade Pittman; and Valentino Willis.
